Marchon is an innovator and has established entirely new product categories, such as eyeglass frames made of Flexon, the revolutionary bendable metal. Recently the company announced the launch of Marchon3D, which combines the patent-pending M3D lens technology with fashion trends to produce a 3D sunglass that optimizes the 3D viewing experience while simultaneously offering UVA/UVB protection in a sunglass.

Vision Service Plan (VSP), the largest vision insurance provider in the United States, acquired Marchon in 2008. The parent company is now known as VSP Global. VSP Global currently has four pillars of business which includes: VSP insurance, Eyefinity®/OfficeMate® offering practice management solutions (software and web based programs for eyecare providers); VSP Optics Group which consists of lens labs and Eyewear with Marchon, Allure and Altair.

Recognized and awarded in the creative field, Marchon’s creative services group produces point-of-purchase displays, advertising and marketing materials that create a greater awareness for the company and its’ brands targeting both trade and consumers.
